Why we carry this one

The apparatus mix is the point. Reformer, chair, Ladder Barrel and box is the classical private teaching set, and it covers most of what a one to one client needs without a Cadillac in the room. The A8-Pro underneath is the top of the Align range, independently tested to EN ISO 20957-1:2013, with 113cm of carriage travel and a six position footbar. The mat converter and platform extender flatten the carriage into a working bed, so you still get supine mat work at height without a tower. The nearest alternative is the Rehab bundle, which is the same single station idea with a Half Cadillac fitted to the reformer and a step barrel, but no Ladder Barrel. Choose this package if your teaching is classical private work and the Ladder Barrel matters. Choose the Rehab bundle if you want push through bar and pull down bar work at the station. If you want tower work later, the Half Cadillac frame and the A-Series bracket fit this A8-Pro, so nothing here is wasted if you add the Half Cadillac frame down the line.

Floor space and room planning

This package suits a single room. The reformer is 263cm by 75cm and needs walk around space on both long sides plus clearance at the rope end, so roughly 3.5m by 2.5m of working footprint for the machine alone. The Ladder Barrel wants a clear wall with space to stand beside it. A room of about 4m by 5m holds everything with room to teach.

Measure four things: the usable rectangle of the room rather than gross floor area; ceiling height at the lowest obstruction, which matters for standing work on the Ladder Barrel even without a tower; the width and height of every doorway on the route in, since the machine is built in the destination room; and corridor turns, stairwell landings or lift size if you are above ground floor.

What you can teach with it

The reformer covers the full private repertoire, footwork, arm and leg springs, side lying, kneeling, the knee stretch and long stretch series, and short box work with the Pro sitting box. Convert the carriage with the mat converter and platform extender and you have a flat bed for supine mat work at working height.

The Combo Chair III takes standing, seated and pressing work, single leg loading and the pumping series. The Ladder Barrel covers extension, side bending, hip work and the standing stretch series, with an adjustable rung to barrel gap. The arc barrel handles spine extension at floor level and stacks away.
