The Align Pilates A2 Full Cadillac Trapeze Table is the freestanding version of the Full Cadillac. The same stainless steel upper frame arrives on its own Cadillac base frame, a complete apparatus with a 206cm by 78cm bed at 64cm height. Nothing bolts to a reformer, nothing is converted, and no reformer station is tied up while Cadillac work runs. The alternative, a reformer with a tower, asks you to give up a machine every time you teach trapeze repertoire.

Assembled it measures 216cm long, 76cm wide and 216cm high and weighs 125kg. It carries the trapeze with adjustable sling, sliding cross bars, a rapid adjust 5 position swing through bar, a maple roll down bar, a belly strap and 12 music wire springs.

1. Assembled height is 216cm, over 7 feet. That is the frame alone. Above it you need clearance for the trapeze to swing and for a client to stand upright on the bed. A 240cm ceiling is workable, lower is not, and the figure to measure to is the lowest obstruction in the room, so beams, ductwork and light fittings, not the highest point of the ceiling.

The 206cm by 78cm bed gives a taller client room to lie out fully with the head rest folded down.

Both carry the same Full Cadillac upper frame and the same 12 spring set, so the repertoire is identical. The difference is what holds the frame up, and what that costs you in equipment and time.

Buy this freestanding table if you do not own a compatible reformer, or if you want a Cadillac station permanently set up that does not tie a reformer up. Buy the Full Cadillac Frame if you already own a compatible C-Series reformer and are happy to convert it, accepting that the machine is unavailable as a reformer while fitted. That route also needs the Full Cadillac Bracket, a platform extender and a mattress converter, all sold separately, and Align-Pilates publishes no assembled dimensions for it, so clearance has to be checked against the assembly guide for your machine.
