The Align Pilates C8-Pro Pilates Reformer with Full Cadillac puts the C8-Pro inside a four poster frame with an overhead canopy running the length of the bed, rather than a single upright frame at one end. Twelve springs ship with it against the five that come with the reformer alone, including two very strong 47cm black springs made for the trapeze. The reformer is built on an oversize aluminium profile with a 91.5cm by 58cm carriage, and the Cadillac upper frame is full stainless steel rather than chromed.

If you have been comparing this against a reformer with a tower, the canopy is the difference. Align calls the half height version a Half Cadillac, and it gives you push through and pull down work at the head end. The full frame adds spring attachment points along the whole canopy, a trapeze with a fluffy foot support, fuzzy handles, and suspended work over the full bed.

A full Cadillac frame is the tallest thing in the Align range, and this is the one configuration where Align does not publish an assembled height. The manufacturer gives the reformer footprint, 244cm by 66cm, and nothing else: no overall height and no ceiling requirement. Some dealer listings quote figures the manufacturer has never confirmed, so we will not print one here. Call us before you order and we will have the frame height checked, then you can measure your room against a verified number. Allow clearance above the canopy too, because the leg extensions raise the machine to 42cm and a client on the trapeze works above bed height.

If nothing you teach needs the trapeze, buy the half version and keep the headroom.
