Why we carry this one

The A8-Pro is the top of the Align range and the right frame for a station that runs all day. Carriage travel is 113cm, enough for full leg extension on a tall client, and the Rapid Change spring bar adjusts with one hand while the springs stay attached. This is the only package with a Half Cadillac on every reformer, and that is the reason to choose it. The Small Studio Package has no towers on its three reformers, so tower repertoire queues at its one standalone Cadillac. The Rehab bundle has a Half Cadillac at its single station, and the 1-on-1 package has no Cadillac at all. Here the Full Cadillac sits on top of the four Half Cadillac frames, not instead of them.

Floor space and room planning

Plan on roughly 1,800 sq ft of usable studio floor. Each A8-Pro occupies 263cm by 75cm, so allow 60 to 75cm of walk around space between machines and keep the rope end clear.

Measure five things: the usable rectangle of the room rather than gross floor area; ceiling height at the lowest obstruction, meaning beams, ducts and sprinkler heads; the width and height of every doorway on the route in; corridor turns and stairwell landings, which stop more deliveries than doorways do; and lift size and load rating above ground floor. Align publishes three assembled heights for an A8-Pro with a Half Cadillac fitted, 199cm, 213cm and 235cm, one per leg height. This package ships the standard 42cm leg, so confirm the figure with us against your ceiling.

What you can teach with it

Four reformers side by side cover the group repertoire from footwork through the long stretch series, with jump boards swapping in at the footbar end for supine cardio work. Because every carriage carries a Half Cadillac, push through bar and pull down bar work runs at any station, and the mat converters and platform extenders make any of the four a flat bed without moving a client. The Full Cadillac adds trapeze and hanging work, the chairs cover single leg loading, and the Ladder Barrel covers extension and the standing stretch series.
