The Cozy Heat Quattro Thru-Wall uses a square cage of horizontal steel bars, so no space is wasted at the corners. It carries 265 lb of stone on the COZYQUATTROTW12 inside a body only 17.3 in wide, the same rock as stoves two inches wider. The firebox door opens into the room behind the sauna, so wood and ash never reach the benches. The COZYQUATTROTW12 heats a home sauna room of 210 to 423 cu ft and the COZYQUATTROTW18 covers 317 to 635 cu ft. Both are wood burning sauna heaters that install through a masonry wall with no power and no wiring, and the only routine jobs are emptying the ash box and restacking the stones once per year. Stones and chimney are used with the stove and both are sold separately.

In a small sauna the bench gap decides everything, and most owners find that out only after the stove arrives. The Quattro carries the same 265 lb of stone as the OG and the SW inside a body 2.3 in narrower than one and 2.0 in narrower than the other, because a square cage uses its corners. Put the firebox through the wall and the stove takes up even less of the room you sit in.

The Thru-Wall models install into an opening in a concrete or brick wall. A standard timber stud wall will not do. Maximum wall thickness is 5.9 in, the opening must be at least 10.0 in wide, and the bottom of the opening must sit at least 17.3 in above the floor. Measure before you order. These stoves are CE marked under Construction Products Regulation 305/2011 EU and tested to EN 15821:2010 by TUV SUD, notified body 0036, but there is no UL, ETL or CSA listing, so confirm with your building department and your insurer. Lead time is 60 days from Estonia on LTL freight. If either the wall or the permit is a problem, buy the Cozy Heat Quattro and load it from inside the room.

You can find a cheaper wood sauna stove. You cannot buy this one cheaper: Cozy Heat sets the price and every dealer holds it. What changes is what comes with the order.

The specs back that up. The COZYQUATTROTW18 runs at 81.3% overall efficiency with a flue gas temperature of 234 °C / 453 °F. The COZYQUATTROTW12 runs at 73.9%. Dust emission is 22 mg/m³ and 35 mg/m³. Both burn wood logs only, up to 30 cm / 11.8 in, loaded on the grate at the back of the chamber rather than in the extension. Both are black steel with a 114 mm / 4.49 in flue that exits from the top.

The wall decides this one, and the numbers are in the callout above. The extension pushes the stove depth to 24.6 to 26.2 in on the COZYQUATTROTW12 and 28.9 to 30.7 in on the COZYQUATTROTW18. Inside the sauna, clearances match the standard model: 6.7 in to the sides on the 12 kW and 9.1 in on the 18 kW, with 44.5 in of headroom above the COZYQUATTROTW12 and 52.8 in above the COZYQUATTROTW18. Nothing is hardwired. Empty the ash box each session and restack the stones once per year.
