What a Cadillac Enables

The Cadillac is the most versatile piece of classical Pilates apparatus. Unlike a reformer, which runs primarily on a sliding carriage, the Cadillac provides a fixed mat surface with a full overhead canopy of springs and bars — opening up the standing, hanging, sitting, and supine spring work that cannot be replicated on a reformer alone:

Push-through bar work — supine and seated spring-assisted spinal articulation, hip flexor, and shoulder exercises using the hardwood push-through bar.

Roll-down bar — standing spinal articulation, hamstring, and hip work with the hardwood roll-down bar.

Leg spring work — full-range hip and leg spring programming in supine and other positions using the overhead canopy.

Arm spring work — overhead and lateral spring resistance for shoulder, chest, and back programming.

Trapeze and hanging work — the stainless steel canopy structure supports the full trapeze and hanging series from the classical method.

Mat-based programming — the fixed mat surface with wraparound foot rails provides a stable, supported base for rehabilitation and restorative work.
